I would just like to note: Southern California under strict water-usage because of droughts and potential fires. Meanwhile a mainline bursts underground at UCLA campus causing....(prepare yourself)........ 20 MILLION gallons of water to leak. (ha-it was like a flash flood!) Hundreds of cars submerged below murky water. A landmark basketball court, newly refurbished, showing signs of buckling. Soaked and stained carpets. An athletic track coated in mud. Heres the rub. That water main pipe? It was a century old. You think its the only water pipe that old? Think again.
