I would just like to say how proud I am of the 45% of Scots who voted Yes. We always knew we had an uphill struggle as we were up against the powerful Westminster establishment, a mainstream media that spewed forth lies and misinformation every day to frighten people into voting No. I dont blame pensioners who voted No through fear of losing their pensions. I do blame those who voted No through some misguided loyalty to a North British Labour party who got into bed willingly with the Tories,. I do blame those ,but not all, who are comfortably well off but who voted No because they were alright and the austerity measures introduced which affected the poor and vulnerable didnt affect their lives. I do blame the members of the Orange Lodge who through misplaced loyalty have condemned thousand more of our kids below the poverty line. What I would like to say is a big thank you to members of the Orange Order who stood up for their beliefs that a Yes vote would make a more just and fair society and who are facing alienation because of this. I do blame those people who voted No but who were too stupid or too lazy to go get informed of the consequences of a No vote. Shame on you all. The 45% will continue to battle to create a better more socially just and fairer society for everyone. Dont think you have crushed us. We will continue to fight for as long as we have to. This is not over, not by a long shot.
