I would just like to say since no one else seems to be saying it, that Julie Chislett was the main organizing force behind the Chevery Come Home Year committee. Nobody volunteered to head up this group and Julie just kinda fell into the role. Various committee members volunteered to do different jobs. Melody Strickland, Tina Anderson, Ana Osborne and Karine Monger did important parts as did Francis Strickland, Lily Chislett, Diane Evans, Herman Lavallee, Marjorie Bobbitt, Jim Waye and myself. I hope I havent left anyone out. However Julie was the main organizer/ chairman/ coordinator that kept it and us all together. She kept a running budget of expenses and revenues, and made lists of what needed to be done and what had been done or still needed to be done. With some help from committee members she previsioned and had a global vision of all the many and myriad details from toilet paper to food supplies. Although we all worked together as a team, Julie kept us on schedule (and in line although this was not always an easy task, lol). I just want to acknowledge Julies work and thank her for it!!
