I would just like to send out a huge big thank you to all who offered advice and support last night when our silly pooch decided to try and eat a fish hook. We gave her a sleeping pill last night to help calm her but we werent able to get hook out ourselves. After a long stressful night of keeping her calm and settled we went off to the vet first thing this morning. They had to sedate her to remove it, took longer than first thought but finally succeeded. We have one slightly dopey dog who is feeling a bit sore with a fat lip but otherwise okay.
