I would just like to take a minute to thank my daughter Parker for - TopicsExpress

I would just like to take a minute to thank my daughter Parker for all her support & knowledge! You see a while back I went gluten free and started walking/riding my bike some. I lost a bit of weight and got into a comfy place. I am not a mom that strives to be back in a string bikini. That is fine if that is what others have as a goal but Ive just wanted to be a mommy since I was like 2. Im all about being a healthy old mom & hopefully one day a grandmother. When I was little and my mom and her friends use to run I was the one watching all the kids and rocking the babies. It was and always has been my happy place. So my Sparkle started encouraging me to get out of my mommy comfort zone and really get my heart healthy with stepping up my workouts. She said, Momma you have always put us and everyone else for that matter before yourself and its time to do for yourself and put YOU #1! I cringed with just the thought of that. It is soooo out of my comfort zone and actually takes lots of self talks to go in that direction. So Sparkle encouraged me to join a gym and take up Spinning! SIDENOTE: OK so some of yall may know that Ive confronted a man in my yard with a knife, almost fought a dad at Chucky Cheese, am banned from a Christmas tree lot here in Mt P because of an altercation where a man was aggressive towards My Keiffy and I had to educate him, We dont go to the fair cause of a shoving match between myself & a fair worker that touched My Parker on the shoulder, almost got into a fist fight with a ski instructor that touched my Sheldon and told him to move faster, etc etc etc. Protecting my family, being a mommy is natural and comfortable to me. That being said, send me into a library by myself, ask me my times table or send me into a spin class with a bunch of fit and healthy people and I am extremely intimidated. My Parker has gone to every class with me, encouraging me, reminding me to breath, reminding me of proper form, etc. I even took one class with Parker and her man Michael! (Mr & Miss Olympia) They were all looking like Gatorade commercials, sweat glistening like diamonds on their skin and I was all up there like The Biggest Loser contestant on the first show, puking, pouring sweat, feeling lightheaded! LOL! To be honest I thought I broke my whoo haa and tailbone at one point! 😁 (They say I will get use to that) So I am rambling now but I just have to thank Sparkle and tell her how much I appreciate the time she has spent with me. Btw, she says we are adding weight training next week! Yikes! My only complaint is I have looked a hot mess for 2 weeks! No glitter, no sassy outfits, hair in a bun, no makeup, skin splotchy, etc but its all good because I FEEL ALIVE!!!! Next goal is to come off blood pressure meds!!!! GIDDY UP!
