I would just like to take a moment of silence... For.., The Dredger. Those of you who have been there, and experienced it.. know what it is Im talking about. It was a 1800s mining machine, at least 3 stories tall, placed in a pond just off of Le Grange Rd. directly across from the off roading park. Weve hiked around it, climbed all over it, popped off a few rounds by it, and have, in general, had a very good time there. Sadly it is also a memorial to individuals that have died there as well. But it is on this day, and with a heavy heart, that I dare say... the People who have tried to, keep us out, kick us out, keep The Dredger contained, and deny its beauty to the public, have come very close to succeeding. Not only are there plenty of barb wire fences, chain link fences, and natural hurdles to cross. Those we could handle... but now... there are well over 100 honey bee hives along the main entrance to this historic monument. I tried to brave this, gauntlet today, and ALMOST had it end VERY badly... so today I say.. Never Forget: The Dredger....
