I would just like to take this time to remind everyone that God put each and every one of us on this Earth to serve a purpose. We may all be different, but that makes a person who they are… it is called individuality! Just because some people may have better clothes, cars, homes, etc. than others does not mean they are superior. I have come a long way since I graduated high school and if I could go back I would rethink a lot of my actions. Everyone puts their pants on the exact same way. Keep that in mind when you go to put someone down or make fun of them because they are not in the same “click” as you , they do not live the same lifestyle as you, or they do not have the same interests as you. Not everyone is perfect… not even the people who claim they are. Each person has their own story and you never know what might actually be going on in their story. I continuously hear of teenagers taking their own lives and it always hits hard in my heart, but now I am actually having to experience it and live through it for the second time. Before you make someone feel like they are useless or insignificant think about what they may be experiencing. What if it was you feeling that way and getting put down? I not only ask you to rethink what you do before you do it, but uplift someone’s spirits today. Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:29-32
