I would like to THANK every single person, group, friend, family, and business that went over and beyond to help, support, donate, purchase items, or do whatever was needed to assist with an AMAZING benefit in honor of Lisa Johnson. The Love for Lisa benefit on June 28th at the Huron high school was a success with an overwhelming response! ! More than 400 family and friends came together and raised over $30,000 for the Johnson family. I cannot begin to thank well over 300 donators....from the whole meal being donated to all the kitchen helpers, the live and silent auction-donators/bidders/buyers, ALL the workers, cleaners, pre planners, auctioneers and all the different groups of kids!! (From taking around flyers, collecting donations from businesses, being auctioned off for labor, working the auction, meal and cleaning) could not be prouder of all these kids that supported this family in our community! The support given was very obvious how much LISA- a wife, mother, friend, sister, daughter, aunt, mentor, educator, director, coworker, sport supporter, goat, sheep, calf show, and rodeo supporter and educator, and much more was truly loved by all. I again THANK you all for your tremendous support!!!
