I would like to apologize to those people who had their sight set on going to the Oklahoma-North Texas Little Britches Rodeo Association rodeos in Vinita and Claremore. It is not going to be feasible for them to come to Northeast Oklahoma since most of their rodeos are currently going to be in Southwest Oklahoma this year. I would like to thank the other associations in our area for trying to schedule around these rodeos and again apologize for any inconvenience. I would also like to thank the city of Vinita and the American Legion Post 40 for their support as well. If anyone is interested in going to a rodeo, I suggest going to Arklahoma Little Britches Rodeo Association in Natural Dam Arkansas. It is 2 hours from Vinita and they have 2 rodeos in one day starting October 5th. I would encourage kids to try and qualify for nationals. We just got back from the National Little Britches Rodeo Association "NLBRA" finals which was a great experience for my boys. It is expensive but a great stepping stone for those kids who are planning to move on and try to compete in the junior high and high school finals.
