I would like to ask all my Facebook friends and family out there to please say some extra prayers for our little baby boy Baxter. He is barely eating which is not good. Had him at the vet tonight and the tumor on the throat is now bigger so she is thinking the one inside the chest probably has grown too. I will be having exrays done on him in a couple weeks. He has basically stopped eating dry dog food and any type of dry dog treat and pretty much everything else I can think of. Vet said she doesnt care what he eats as long as its not bad for him like onions, grapes, etc. She said do baby food, cat food, people food, anything. We keep trying thing after thing. Stuff he used to love he wont eat. Then he might eat a couple bites of something and then thats it, no more. He wont eat cheese or peanut butter anymore. Doesnt want eggs or bacon or chicken. He has lost about a pound and a half in the last week. He is now on prednisone with the hopes it will help with the appetite. Getting the pills in him is a whole other story cause you have to push the pills down his throat I am praying and hoping that the meds will kick in and help with the appetite. Everything else appears good, he still runs outside and barks at everything and plays with his toys. Its just he doesnt want to eat. Thank you all for the extra prayers. This sucks big time and is breaking my heart. My precious baby boy always loved to eat.
