I would like to offer some commentary. I am not an administrator in this group but Ive been a member of the group awhile and so Ive seen it grow considerably. One of the reasons it is so popular is that it has always been a source for wonderful Rock & Roll, Classic Rock that we know and love. Lately a few of us (I have a music group that shares some members with this one) have noticed a trend away from the core value, the music and have noticed an abundance of questions about side subjects and likes that utilize a lot of space and way too many non music notifications. I was debating turning off all notifications or leaving the group; however, some of the best music posters on Facebook post here, more than in my group and I dont want to leave. So what I am suggesting is, please post Classic Rock and leave the I like this I like that short comment threads for a lesser group. Who cares if you prefer day and I prefer night. Asking which is better Kiss or the Beatles is ludicrous to me if you think about it. One group is possibly the premier musical legends of the genre of popular music, the other, whom you have every right to love, just a band. It would have made more sense to me to post a favorite Kiss song with the question, Any other Kiss fans here? Or what is your favorite Kiss song. No offense intended but Kiss didnt write A Day In the Life, Here Comes the sun, In this Life, Revolution, The End or (you get the idea)? At least if you disagree with me and prefer the short answer questions direction, here is the opportunity to say so. But at the same time, if you prefer the music posts that have been the foundation of this group, lets hear that too. So aloha from Hawaii, Rock and Roll forever and whereever this room settles, may it please all 13,000 of its Rockin members and administrators.
