I would like to say a quiet word if I may. Recently our society has been shaken by the suicide of Robin Williams. There is a great deal being said about it, more than I can add to here, other than to wish him peace and pray comfort for those he left behind. My purpose is a little different. I would like to speak directly to any person who thinks they feel like Robin. I do this because in my community suicide is all too common. For Native people, Robins death was not a shock, but a reminder. So here is my message to any who need it: You are not alone. You are loved. Talk to someone. Let the hurt out and God in. Give life one more chance. We need you.
