I would like to share this with you with the hope of passing on a smile. The other day while working at the grocery store here in town, a young man, maybe 18 - 20 years old, comes to the counter with his few grocery items. Intently watching the total rack up he asks me to take out a few items so that he would have enough money to cover his bill. A lady that was ahead of him packing her own groceries, saw that he was struggling to pay his grocery bill and asked me to put them back on the bill and proceeded to pay his entire grocery bill for him. After the initial shock from the young man and exclamation of thanks and that no one had ever done something that nice for him in his entire life... his smile could have lit up the entire store. It was my absolute honour to witness this act of kindness! This is twice now that I have seen this in our store. It brings tears to my eyes each and every time but I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to this wonderful lady for her selfless act of kindness to this young man.
