I would like to share with this forum a YouTube video a fishing buddy of mine did with me as his guest for his local TV fishing show. Even though its actually the 2nd part of the whole episode, that fact and the context of this video are unimportant. The reason for sharing this is to show how a cochlear implant recipient such as myself can easily participate in a TV show without having to look at the person talking or even need to lipread. Notice not once did I have to ask him to repeat. This is a goal we strive for when we make the decision, usually after much hand-wringing, to get cochlear implants, isnt it?
