I would like to take this opportunity to thank EVERYONE who has generously donated to this cause - the people of the Philippines can take a crumb of comfort when they realise that Guernsey has the islands very firmly in its heart. There is a massive amount of money raised for aid for them from here - with all the various amounts being sent. I would also like to commend the AMAZING group of volunteers who have stepped up to the plate and given me of their precious time to help me organise my chaotic days by fetching/carrying/driving/posting/banking/sorting meds/producing lists and spreadsheets/making labels/packing bags/stocking shops/providing photos/producing calendars/cards and much much more - all of the help has been given unconditionally and with great humility and humor - I am very proud of what you have all achieved - stars each and every one of you!
