I would like to thank Dawn and the rest of the admin staff for providing this chance for me to offer a post-tribal perspective on any questions concerning shamanic practice. Before throwing the doors open for such questions, I will briefly introduce myself and my practice. Unlike many of you, I was not introduced to shamanism as a child. In fact, my childhood was mostly spent in a dissociative haze due to various traumas. This is not a complaint. As much as I am still healing from the wounds of my childhood, it set me on this path, and for that I am grateful. It wasnt until the late 70s that I discovered shamanism, thanks to Mirca Eliade and Michael Harner. My first explorations in these areas led me to realizations that gradually healed the biggest wounds and allowed me to thrive. They also brought me to understand the relationship with Grandfather, my spirit ally, allowing me to receive his teachings, which I pass on to others as post-tribal shamanism. I live and work in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA with my amazing wife and daughter, who both enrich my life beyond measure. I am blessed with the opportunity to work in service to my local community as well as an ever growing number of remote clients. Isnt modern technology amazing?!! In addition, I have two books out on post-tribal shamanism and offer weekend trainings for those interested in deepening their understanding of how shamanism can apply to life in the modern world. Please feel free to ask anything and I will do my best to respond. I do have clients to attend to as well this afternoon, but can continue to respond into the evening. I can also be reached through the website and Facebook site below. shamanstouch https://facebook/groups/PostTribalShamanism/ may the ancestors bless our conversation, Kenn
