I would like to thank every one that came out and supported our carwash. We washed a lot of cars. We accepted all donations, a lot of people gave $2.00 and $3.00. We thank you! The same ones ate hamburgers and smoked sausage. A big shout out to Gabrielle King for her generous donation. She stopped by after seeing the post on face book. We will be having another car wash this Saturday August 24th, 2013 at 10:00am to 6:00pm. Again all donations are accepted. This fund raiser is for the youths to buy uniforms and office supplies. We will be working on changing the lives of youths, young men and women. We want them to dream far beyond their present situation and believe they have a future ahead of them. We need your support. We need volunteers with all skills and backgrounds. Please help us make this a reality. The car wash will be at The City Of Refuse Church, located at 55th and Broadway. Lend us your support. If anyone know of a good location to hold a fund raiser in Gary, let me know. See you Saturday.
