I would like to update everyone and let you know what has happened. On October 12th We received a call stating that there were some abandoned horses in Wimauma. We followed up and discovered The people were still there. We talked them into releasing the horses to RVR. The Horses were all in a dark old barn full of feces and urine. all of them emaciated beyond belief. We were just sick. Within 24 hours... 3 of them were dying. 1 was seizing from fear. The Veterinarians came out and helped the 3 cross over the rainbow bridge, via euthanasia. There was no hope left. We had toxology reports and anything else we could do to help the investigations go smooth. we were not allowed to discuss it because of the investigations. Our vet bill was $3000.for that night. on the 16th one of our volunteers who knew the admin for the mama Jade page. Told her the story and how we could not put it out there, So she shared our fundraiser on her page..( Mama Jade Mama Jade. 136,357 likes · 46,784 talking about this. Thanks to those wonderful people who care for and follow Mama Jade! Rescuing a horse is not cheap.
