I would like your advice/prayers regarding one of my two torties - Anna, a washed/dilute gray and tan tortie. She is not eating as well as she should, and I am afraiid that she is reverting to her previous behavior pattern (or possibly something worse). She was born under my bed, but for the first five years or so of her life she wanted nothing to do with me. Then suddenly, almost over night, she became one of the most vocal cuddlers that I have ever seen. She also exhibited the same behavior withof me that she exhibited to her own mother (shes very close to her Mommy, which is also what I named her mommy, rubbing, nuzzling, and being very vocal). Just as suddenly, she seems to be shying away from me now, and not eating well. Perhaps I am too nervous at that sign as it was what alerted me to Lazarus having CRF - chronic renal failure - kidney failure. It was only 27 days after Lazarus was diagnosed that he died, and I dont want the same thing yo happen to another of my babies. I have put her separate from the others with both a little bit of canned, and a little bit of dry food. Of course it could also be that she ate enough last night and is still full, or she doesnt like the food dish itself, theyll refuse to eat sometimes, I noticed if the food isnt served in their favorite dish, but whether food is transferred back, they gobble it down. The biggest complicating factor is that I have been unemployed for 27 months, and have an almost empty bank account. Please pray for her, and that somehow I can somehow find the money to take her for a check-up. Thanks. Photo is of Anna.
