I would like your opinion on this-when we refer to exo-terrains, - TopicsExpress

I would like your opinion on this-when we refer to exo-terrains, we usually go by (name) geography. Sometimes we use Areography for Mars and Selenography for the Moon, but theyre switched up. Since well be getting our first look at Pluto this coming year for the first time, could we say Plutography period and just assign like that? Its the same thing as national space fairing terms-cosmonaut and astronaut are pretty engrained, while taikonaut/Chinese astronaut are often interchanged in the news. Well, since this is being introduced to the world for the first time in July (and since Plutonian geography) is a mouthful, could we solidly have Geography for Earth and Plutography for Pluto? (Yes well being Ceres as well for the first time, but a standard would apply). You say Plutography first and make it stick, youve invented a solid new term (national space fairing terms as I mentioned are a good example of this). Whats in a name? A sense of reality and understanding the universe!
