While financial aspirations would have been welcomed in our household, the idea of telling anyone I was using something for weight loss was horrifying to me! I would have NEVER picked Plexus as a job, honestly. I think it sort of picked me. And even still, while my health testimony makes my heart jump every time I think about it, to many of you, the health testimonies are not even surprising anymore. We know that we know that our products are untouchable! Almost as surprising to me was....not only does this stuff work, the company PAYS SO WELL! It sounds better than too good to be true! I found Plexus in a google type search. I had no training, there were no meeting for hundreds of miles from where I live. So, I didnt dare try to sell it. I had only signed up to get it at wholesale prices. So, for months, it was a secret! But around January 2012, I decided to stick my toe in the water...literally! I posted a picture of my janky toenail on my facebook wall, pointing out how it was now halfway grown out and healthy. My inbox lit up overnight! Who knew so many folks had janky toenails? Initially, all I sold was pro-bio 5. Still not comfortable with talking about a weight loss product. But from those initial customers, I got the most interesting feedback EVER! So many people telling me they were no longer suffering from something theyd suffered from for YEARS! So, I got braver. In fact, I got really brave. My brother (also my best friend), passed away in 2006--and his health issues were related to candida, something that the traditional medical world knows NOTHING about. The same thing that caused my janky toenail. From January to June, the following happened, I signed my husband up as an ambassador in March. He quit his full-time job in May. We were making a 5-figure monthly income in June. And we were only one Gold and one Silver Ambassador, in love with the products! Never held meetings....only yacked about it on Facebook. To think the amount of time I spent building this business, I could have raked up an associates degree and student loans. And most likely have had a hard time finding a job that paid well enough to pay off my student loans. At my 20-year class reunion, the topic of student loans came up and MANY of my classmates were still paying on their student loans and most of them were NOT working within their degree. Last month, my husband turned Diamond Ambassador. And I will be Diamond in a month or so. If you understand the point system, you can add that up pretty quick. A Double Diamond household in less that two years. Add in the Jewel Pool bonuses , for BOTH of us..missions X 2, business building bonuses X 2, etc. and you end up with a couple in a Southern Oklahoma small-town, who will PAY MORE in taxes this year than we used to MAKE! yeah, you read that right....Actually, TWO times as much or more paid in taxes than we used to MAKE! Its been an incredible journey. I have met amazing people and I get the most touching emails from my customers, whose lives are forever changed! Who could ask for a happier job. We planted a garden this year. Even bought a tractor (which would have seemed silly to me two years ago). And we work in our pajamas, literally. Home for our kids ALL the time!
