I would never have guessed the following story would be part of the 2014 world cup: the fear that a Brazil team holds (held) on each opponent, at some level, the immense respect for Brazil futbol, the subconscious and conscious thoughts felt when seeing a yellow and blue jersey, vanished in 5 days. Brazil no longer will be able to step onto the pitch, and utilize this advantage. A match like the quarterfinals, which Brazil road the history, and the power of that thought which was somewhere in everyones head (which went something like, Columbia cannot beat Brazil in the quarterfinals of the world cup, especially in BRAZIL, that is ridiculous, Columbia is a second class South American team, come on) to win the match, will no longer happen. That magical cloak of Brazil is gone. The only other team to go through this, is England. Agreed? It is just crazy. Obviously, some of this is speculation, and only time will tell. Thoughts?
