I would post a picture of me after my last basal skin cancer surgery but it might scare the young children. After 7 hours in the doctors office, at least 100 shots to numb my face (not really 100 but sure seemed like it), 1,000 stitches ( again... just seems) and 3 times cutting to get all the cancer clear, I am praising God for helping me to handle it as well as I did. When the doctor started cutting so he would have something to stitch together, poor old Mike about passed out. I noticed he looked pale and the nurses kept asking him if he needed some water, but he declined. He was hurting with me. Bless my dear husband! It will be a few weeks before these gazillion of stitches come out so I am trying to do something I really dont know how to do .. It is called REST!! (sounds boring to me...lol) Thank you for your prayers and I want everyone to know how much the prayers mean to me. Please protect your skin from the sun. I wish I had started much earlier. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and cherish the time spent with your loved ones!!
