I would really have wished to do as many schools and as fast as possible,but the limiting factor here will be funds. I have had the opportunity to visit a school every Sunday after church and we have many schools in similar condition all over Muhoroni. In addition each school has a hanging unfinished CDF sponsred classroom , including Wambi. This is what our schools got in the last 10 years from CDF. This is why after mapping the situation in the constituency ,we have come up with a new concept in our starategic plan for five years to uplift the infrastructure in these schools.To build four modern classrooms in every primary school.We also want to start and complete all the projects we undertake to do and lastly we will not use PMCs or school BOMs as in the past. We will contract our jobs to a qualified contractor with track record of places he has built and preferably, he should come from Muhoroni.We have started with Wambi as model school and then roll out the concept to as many of our prioritised schools as the funds will allow. Lastly as I said, CDF funds are not enough to do all the schools. As parents and stake holders we must think outside the box of CDF and suppliment building our schools by holding harambees to close the gap and the time we have lost.I will be on the front to support such initiative.
