I would very much like to add Cliff Thompson to your memorial page this weekend. Cliff died just over a year ago, aged 67. He began racing in the mid 1960s (always in modified minis) with both the Stroud and District and Bredon Hill Club. He was a staunch supporter of Jalopy/Autograss racing and undertook most positions at Club level. He rose to be League Scrutineer and finally National Chief Scrutineer. He was a very popular driver and this was evident at his funeral, where so many racing friends from all over the country attended. He will always be missed.
