I write to the Parkersburg News & Sentinel once a month (the most you can when writing a letter to the editor). Ive seen at least two upcoming pieces of legislation in the WV House of Delegates mentioned on this and other pages that I am anxious to support, and at least one Im anxious to rail against. If I could ask that the members of this group please let me know about bills we need to support in the House of Delegates and/or State Senate, and the bills we need to take a stand against prior to Feb. 1st Id appreciate it. As a father of a 6-year-old and 10-year-old and a full-time employee and a student I sometimes dont have time to become acquainted with the details. What I would need are the bill numbers, lead sponsors, and brief summations of the intent of the bills. It would also help to know if theyre in committee or being voted on by the full body, etc, at time of writing. I plan to submit the first week of February. Thank you.
