Males are larger than females. -Chameleons tounges reach 1.5 lengths of body & the tounge is launched & back with prey with one second. -Vieled Males nubs or spurs also known as Tarsals spurs on back of feet, where female lack. -Chameleons have independently rotating eyes that can rotate 180 degrees horizontal & 90 degrees vertically. -Chameleons have poor hearing & even worst smell, there hunting is solely based on sight. -Veiled feet are two fused pads on both feet with three nail on one & two on other side of pad Zygodactyl. There truly made for vine climbing & high tree dwelling. -Chameleons are extotherms animals, whos tempeture is regulated by body temperature. -Chameleons do have taste buds & teeth -Chameleons cant regrow tail if lost, unlike most reptiles, its used at a fifth limb. -Most chameleons are Arboreal creatures meaning they dwell in trees, & rarely seen in ground unless laying eggs or hunting. Some rare species lives mostly on ground, under leaves.
