IATA ONLINE TRAINING COURSES!!! This is a general awareness message regarding the online training courses provided by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) through their Training Division; IATA Training & Development Institute (ITDI). ITDI train thousands of aviation professionals and businesses each year with a commitment to developing careers and a workforce that makes the aviation industry SAFE, SECURE, and SUSTAINABLE. ITDI offers courses in a classroom and/or distance learning environment covering the following aviation sectors; • Airline • Air Navigation Services • Airport • Cargo • Civil Aviation Authority • Corporate (general) • Ground Services • Travel Agency As of December 2013, Vanuatu Terminal Services Ltd (VTS) has become an IATA Examination Centre and approved as the local examinations coordinator for ITDI exams in Vanuatu. This means that all Distance Learning courses offered by ITDI can now be easily completed in Vanuatu by sitting your exams with VTS. In the past, you would need to travel abroad to an IATA Examination Centre located elsewhere to sit your exams. If you are interested in participating in one of ITDI’s online courses, please visit iata.org/training/Pages/index.aspx to search for a course suitable to your needs. All course fees are available on the website for review and purchasing of course fees are done online with payments made directly to ITDI via credit card purchase or bank transfer. NOTE: VTS DOES NOT CHARGE OR COLLECT ANY FEES FROM YOU FOR SITTING YOUR EXAMS WITH THEM. VTS is merely providing a service to the community with the hope of providing more opportunities for individuals interested in an aviation career in Vanuatu. Remember, this is in regards to ITDI Distance Learning Courses only. Any classroom courses will require you to attend the course by travelling to the location where the course is being offered…usually at one of the IATA Authorized Training Centers overseas.
