IBA Summer Intensive 2014 has come and gone, and our students gave a fabulous performance yesterday! They demonstrated what they had learned in ballet, pointe, character, jazz, musical theatre, and contemporary. We are so proud of them! Some of this years memorable moments include: moonwalking to Michael Jackson, keeping the musical theatre piece a secret, Nadias daily visits to see Vlada, Cara and Aaron (2014 IBC Bronze Medalist) taking class with us the day before the start of IBC, the best SI food anywhere (Thanks, Lara, Doug, and Nick!), Madeline helping out with lunch, learning to sew pointe shoe ribbons with Juliana in Level A, Yuliyas motorcycle ride with Jurgen, Celines fake tears after Lena pretends to yell at her; relaxing during Alexander Technique with Naina, bouncing on balls and balancing on the Boca Board during Dr. Sitzmanns class, how good the cold Gatorade was the day Studio 1 overheated (Thanks, Marie!), saying farewell to Sarah and Katya, saying good-bye for now to our students leaving for other SIs, keeping up with our friends at the IBC, Gabriel going several hours without talking, visits from IB board members, Liz learning to use an iPhone and iPad, a multiple birthday celebration and the annoying musical card that kept playing, and Gordy and Level 2s surprise at the demonstration: CATS!
