IBPS PO-IV Interview experience - LUCKNOW Name - Narendra Panel- 3 Date – 22/01/2015 Venue – Grand JBR Hotel, Lucknow Time – 8.30 am • Arrived at scheduled time 8.30am and were seated by 9.10am • Document verification started immediately. No division according to marks but by category. We were called for the interview immediately after verification, in groups of 3. • The panel comprised of 4 gentlemen and 1 lady. Friendly and cordial atmosphere, no major stress or coercion by any panelist. • I was first asked to describe my physical condition (since I am a PH candidate). Banking Questions asked: 1. Describe yourself? 2. What is your opinion about priority sector? 3. What is it? 4. Why is it necessary? 5. Dont you think this in undermining the profits of the banks? 6. What alternative do you suggest? 7. What is a bank or role of banks in the economy? 8. What is GDP? 9. What is the impact of inflation? 10. What are the current inflation figures? 11. What is difference between CPI and WPI? 12. What is PMI? 13. What is SARFAESI act? Why is its application in Banking space? 14. What is difference between Balance of Trade and Balance of Payment? 15. What is credit appraisal? 16. Why is credit appraisal necessary? Personal Questions 1. What do you think your role will be in the bank if selected? 2. Why did you not go for a job in the manufacturing sector having an Engineering degree? 3. You are an engineer, how will your knowledge and experience be useful to us? 4.
