IDQ20032 Bureau of Meteorology Queensland Regional Office TOP PRIORITY FOR IMMEDIATE BROADCAST CANCELLATION SEVERE WEATHER WARNING Issued at 9:49 am Thursday, 28 November 2013. Severe weather is no longer occurring in QUEENSLAND. However, rain areas with moderate to locally heavy falls are still possible across the Gulf Country district today. The immediate threat of severe weather has passed, but the situation will continue to be monitored and Severe Thunderstorm Warnings will be issued if necessary. Queensland Fire and Emergency Services advises that people should: * Beware of fallen trees and powerlines. * Avoid driving, walking or riding through flood waters. * For emergency assistance contact the SES on 132 500. Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureaus website at bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 219. The Bureau and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
