IF ONLY WE KNOW THE END Some group of movie enthusiast had gone to a cinema hall to watch a much advertised movie. At the middle of the movie, anyone entering the hall would have thought it was a grave yard where people had gathered to inter the remains of a much loved fellow whov had died in his prime. It was not so. Their sullen looks was understandable, the difficulties and storms of life that ravaged the life of the major player were second to none. it was as if the whole world was against him. His was a piteous story. while every one in the hall felt sorry for this principal actor of the blue they noticed a man at the corner of the auditorium. He was beaming with smiles, the more sympathetic the story becomes, the more he smiles. When asked the reason for his bizarre and inhuman disposition, he only laughed the more. he had told them in an unprecedented manner; i know the end, i wrote the story.... it is th story of my life! In our sojourn in life, we are bound to come across obstacles and situations which seem to evoke empathy for us, but if only we or any of our commiserator know what the end of the story will be, then we we will all have cause to laugh. The psalmist in the holy writ encouraged the believers saying weeping may endure far a nightbut joy comes in the morning. the night peroid connotes a time of darkness, travils and trial. It means a time of gloominess and depression. A moment when you cry and there is no one to console you and all that you can hear is the solemn echo of your own voice. But after the night, the comes the suiting feeling of the dawn. with the morning comes the birth of hope. Truly, you may have cause to be depressed and sorrowful, but always smiles away your problems knowing that they are not going to be permanent. What whiteman once said weep not my child, weep not my darling, the long ravening sky shall not long be victorious..... they shant long possess the sky. The only man who has no hope is the man who is dead. When there is life , there is hope. a man called Job who lived in the ancient city of Uz once observed that there is hope for a treeif it be cut down at the scent of water, it shall bud forth so every day you have the breath of life, you have a reason to rejoice because it portends great possibilities of opportunities. Worrying over lifes difficulties will get us nowher. Theywill in face compound them. The wisest thing to do when troubles of life come is to rest on the unfailing grace of God. he is more than ableto deliver us. The bible says cast your burdens on to him for he cares for you. When we do not fret in the face of challenges, then victory is sure. With courage, mountains can be surmounted and used as stepping stones to success. when lifes vicissitudes become tempest, only courage and preseverance can make us forge ahead. So friend, we have got to pack our worries in the old kit and laugh, laugh and laugh. Lets alway remember that the end is not now.......tomorrow a better day will come!
