IF, however, if it IS in Gods will, let me be reinstated for one of the two VA Senior Social Worker vacancies advertised in our local southeastern Georgia area. I feel I still have SO MUCH energy, experience, education and enthusiasm--so much still to give helping veterans of not only our most recent wars in the Middle East but also those who served in Viet Nam, Korea and WWII. I once was a Navy Hospital Corpsman myself. I took the Corpsmans Oath holding the care of the injured to be a sacred trust. I dedicated my heart, mind and strength to the work before me. These days many of our injured seem to suffer even more from psychological wounds than from physical ones. They need ALL we can do to help them. Lord, grant me that privilege, of ONE LAST TIME, to be able to provide the support to those who have taught us, all too well, that FREEDOM IS NOT FREE! Pray that I may be reinstated to one of these positions so that I can carry on the most important work of helping these brave people who have served our country so well.
