IG WALA SUPPORT GOOD OMEN: IN THE INTEREST OF OUR PEOPLE! As part of community development gesture, the IG Wala Support Group concluded arrangement to erect Electricity poles and wires that was destroyed long ago along Dumbu bridge on the Talasse road in Balanga LGA. The situation plunge the entire LGA into darkness for over Nine (9) Months. Yesterday, after engaging experts on job, the PHCN staff and our team went for the final inspection and planned to move some items (Electric Poles, Wires, etc). On arrival to the site this morning, the team met some people on ground, with electric poles and wires. They informed our team that the Chairman of the LGA engaged them overnight to ensure that there is light in Balanga LGA immediately. We wish to make it clear that the IG Walals gesture is in the interest of the people particularly, the youths. We saw the condition of the youths in Balanga LGA as pathetic. There no basis for inaction towards fixing electricity because, it is totally against any principle of human development that entire LGA will remain in total darkness for almost a year. Such community is capable of loosing track of global trend. However, we appreciate the Chairman for realizing the importance of keeping up to our responsibilities and also wish to appeal for quality job. THE FACT THAT WE HAVE ACQUIRED ITEMS WORTH OVER A MILLION NAIRA FOR THE JOB, WE WILL APPRECIATE IF THE LGA WILL ACCEPT OUR HAND OF PARTNERSHIP ON THE ONGOING REPAIRS.
