IGNORANCE, INDOCTRINATION and NOLLYWOOD Having Xrayed the typical Nigerian in recent times. One would wonder,when reading/studying becomes a taboo, and the consequences of that are heaped on the GOD and Satan factor,the picture casts a morbid image of an impending plague that subdues the recent EBOLA virus,threatening the African continent and the world at large. Several times i have come across people who say that someone can take other peoples destinies, siphon their progress, etc. Interesting,but where does it actually happen like that if not in Nigeria and AFRIKA. I have wondered how economies like the Scandinavian economies, who their people at least the ones that i met are almost atheists,do not need to struggle and yet live like humans basically. The combination of Mike Tyson weighted punches of imposed ignorance,indoctrination and the killer upper cut of Nollywood on the average Nigerian, weakens his legs and cerebral coordination to perpetually keep him on the canvass, dazed and confused, while the referee (The West) and the spectators (The same West, with a few saboteurs from here) get thrilled. The counting begins 1...2... 3...- 10 (bell rings) .Another KNOCK OUT! The chacters who have engineered this fight, the promoters etc,all pop champagne. Another victory for them. How on earth will the average Nigerian win this trophy in this titled bout? This young man definitely is ignorant of the system caused lack of progress,at virtually every sector of the economy, who destroyed the education system here in the bid to build their private schools and enrich themselves at the expense of the people. Besides, their children study abroad, for their safety and their personal convictions that this system they have raped cannot work. Now this young man, a cobbler has not thought about his job and how he can improve his skills, no encouragement from the system to make him move forward, no access to loans and trainings to improve on his skills,and of course he must be a big fan of Nollywood. Of course Nollywood,where amidst the lack of reading culture presents itself as an alternative information source, where one cannot categorize, horror or thriller,where stories are about bad mother in laws and witchcraft in every sphere of the Nigerians life. Where whatsoever a man does to make money is finally pardoned,by a fast encounter with Jesus Christ and yes..The End..To GOD BE THE GLORY! No punitive measures. Is Mother Nature stupid? Where is the Law of Retributive Justice,that says He that lives by the sword,shall die by the sword.Whatsoever a man sows,he shall reap etc. This is how the system sucks their own,in a most subtle way,that it is made to be confusing,and not all people with eyes who are looking can be said to be seeing. Those who have ears..Let them hear..Today is still early!...Be careful about what you watch as movies and listen to as music!.
