Once again, we heard Lily shared her story thru our most loved program through the airlanes, IHINGA Mo Kay Tita Mika... And now, we have reached the most interesting part of her story.. Will the wedding get through? Seems like Lily is having her second thoughts... What do you think, dear listeners? Whereupon she played the continuation of the song Mahal ko O Mahal ako by KZ Tandingan Sino ang iibigin ko? ikaw ba. Na pangarap ko, O sya bang kumakatok sa puso ko..? O, ano ang paiiralin ko? Isip ba o ang puso ko? nalilito, litong litong lito.... As the song faded, Tita Mika said.. Take it away Lily! Mom n Dad welcomed us as we walked inside our house. My parents enthusiasm showed because they knew Id be in good hands with Dave.. Mom cooked Chopsuey a mixture of fresh vegetables Lechon Manok, beefsteak ,Tagalog version, corn soup, And Mango float for dessert. Dad had his red wine ready for the after dinner shot... The after dinner conversation lasted a few minutes before midnight, Dad bragging about his golf and my moms Long list of advice for the future newlyweds.....us!!! Then came D Day!! November 25, 1999.. The entourage had gathered in the patio of Manor House, While I was still in a room being dressed and made up. My nieces , the flower girls were playfully running, while my best friend And co teacher at the St.Louis University, Belle, my Maid of honor was seeing to it that all thing needed for the ceremony was all there.. Time for the wedding march..... My bridal march was accompanied by a Violin Rendition of The Way you look Tonight by Tony Bennett Someday, when Im awfully low, when the world is cold, I will feel a glow just thinking of you... and the way you look tonight..... Oh, but youre lovely with your smile so warm and your cheeks so soft theres nothing left for me, but to love you just the way you look tonight.. The music filled the air, as Lily came in from behind... a lovely bride, with yellow daisies on her hair And walking gracefully as she dons a multi tierred gown of white taffeta n tulle combined, Her shoulders bare as she tote a yellow bunch of daisies . But wait , was there a glitter in her eyes? She was so beautiful, nobody noticed .. Although she Kept on smiling... From a distance, Dave was standing, tall n erect So handsome in his dark gray suit, with a single yellow daisy on its lapel... His eyes were full of adoration for the slowly approaching appararition of loveliness.. music continues.. And that laugh that wrinkles your nose it touches my heart, lovely.... never never change... keep that breathless charm wont you please erase it... cause I love you.... just the way you look tonight..... just the way you look tonight.... LiLy continued: As I approached Dave, my world stood still... I was still wishing it was Dino reaching out for my hand..... The exchange of I dos was finally over And it was then that I realized that my world took a complete turn from what it used to be... The finale.... there were thunderous applause and shouts Requesting for the seal of Kiss... I obliged , offered my lips to Dave.... And once again,.. My world stood still. Guests were numbered consisting only of some family members , a few friends, and some neighbors. Of course Mae was there as one of my bridesmaid... The dinner followed, and ended with with a ceremonial toast, the cutting of the wedding cake.. And the usual after wedding ritual.. I saw Dave smiling and having fun... and thought that I was indeed lucky to have him for life... So I began to thank myself for the decision I have done.... The night is finally over... Guests started leaving with only my parents in sight.... And they have to say goodnight too. Tonight, well start to be Atty n Mrs, Dave Pierre..... Part of the total wedding package was the bridal suite.. As we were walking towards the room, Dave tagged me by the waist, kissed me and then lifted and carried me As we walked towards our room......
