IK is a popular leader of Pakistan. He got 7 million votes in the general elections. He is the only hope for tens of millions Pakistanis. It is very unfortunate for Pakistani nation that he tried to use a “short cut”. God knows whether he did it for his wishes or for the Nation. But whatever the reason, it can not be justified. The worst part of his act is promotion of intolerance among the youth and general public of Pakistan. Human being is not free of mistakes. However great people try to learn from their mistakes. Non of the politicians is “doodh ka dhula hua”. ZA Bhutto was foreign minister in ayoub cabinet, NS was provincial minister and then CM with Zia, Jamat e Islami was a part of Zia cabinet, MQM was created by Zia,…. But they learned from their past as per their capability. It is due to the collective learning process of this nation that even Sheikh Rasheed can not confess in public that he has links with establishment. I read a quote somewhere “The past can hurt, but you can either run from it or learn from it”. We hope that IK will learn from mistakes. He will choose a right (legal) path to serve this nation. The nation deserves to see a competition of good performance between political parties instead of all this mess.
