....ILL SEE YOUR WASTEFUL SPENDING AND RAISE YOU A BEAUTY PARLOR - WHAT NEXT, A SWIMMING POOL? A new upgraded inmate beauty parlor worthy of serving the likes of Kathleen Sebelius, Nancy Pelosi or Lois Lerner has opened at a women’s federal prison in Minnesota. Over $30,000 was spent on the addition, which includes porcelain shampoo bowls, eight nail stations, and four massage tables. The Federal Correction Institution Waseca, houses 1,030 inmates. Startup fixtures included eight Jeffco Rocket Styling Chairs, four Belvedere Adara Floor Vanities and four Classic Spa Portable Massage Tables. And what salon would be complete without footbaths, so they have four Pibbs footbaths as well as two Commercial Model Super Nine Wig Dryers, three Belvedere dryer chairs, and four Belvedere cast iron porcelain shampoo bowls. The reception and waiting area had to be furnished as well, so there were four chairs and eight “Dina Meri Mani-go Nail Stations.” The total initial cost is estimated to be at $30,410.23. After a trip to the salon, inmates can sunbathe in the recreation yard. Some rational thought and debate must have gone into the decision to invest in this project and maybe it’s important for the inmates’ self-esteem. Let’s hope some high profile DC residents will soon be able to give their first-hand assessment of the facilities. Minnesota is a great place to get away from the negative influences inside the DC beltway. Certainly there is no shortage of criminal Democrats, and no shortage of Democrat women in desperate need of this type of services.
