ILWU Local 10 longshore workers refused to work the Zim ship Shanghai at the Port Of Oakland on Saturday September 27, 2014. One hundred and fifty picketers from the Stop Zim Action Committee picketed the ship at the SSA terminal pier 57 at the Port of Oakland and called on the ILWU Local 10 and Local 34 not to work the Isreali owned ship. As a result no ILWU longshore workers picked up tickets to work the ship thereby stranding it at the port. Community activists and trade unionists called for a complete worldwide labor boycott of Zim ships at all ports. - full report and large photos indybay.org/newsitems/2014/09/27/18762143.php
