IMAGINE that one morning you awake to find that society has changed. TRANCPARENCY has arrived and the world has become a “TRUE COLORS” WORLD meaning that, makeup or not, our face expresses our hearts or thoughts and our actions. Now what color will we all wear? HEART – THOUGHTS - ACTIONS So can the bible really help us chose our daily colors? Well please read these first and see what colors you see. [RED OR GREEN?] 2 Timothy 3:1-5 - But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. [HARSH COLORS ON ONE SIDE AND WARM INVITING ON THE OTHER, YOU DECIDE] Ephesians 4:29-32 - Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. [WHAT COLOR IS YOUR FRUIT?] Galatians 5:22–24 -But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. God sees our true colors even when we don’t, but He’s an artist and He will find our best color if we would just give him the brush and follow his direction.
