IMAM HASSAN A.S was killed with poison. The actual reason for not discussing his death is fear of sunni masses turning against Hazrat Muawiya or demanding to investigate his role in Imams death becasue one of the main condition of the peace treaty between Imam Hassan A.S and Muawiya that After Muawiyas death caliphate will go to Imam Hassan A.S and Muawiya shall not appoint anyone as his successor (if Imam hassan A.S dies before him). Imam Hassan A.S was poisoned and the celebrations were going on in Damascus on Imams death. Secondly, Banu Umayyah tortured and tyrannized the Muslim wolrd and most probably Scholars were afraid for their own safety because they had seen how Imam an-Nasa’i was treated in Damascus. PS: Ulma usually avoid to talk about his death but happily describe his (so-called) uncountable marriages scandal.
