#IMFGlobalLeadership - This is where it started: Apostle Vance Russell & Apostle Debbie Faircloth Russell of Arise Ministries International, Austin, Texas. From May 15 - 17 2015, the International Ministers Fellowship family will make an unprecedented pilgrimage to Austin, the capital of Texas, the Lone Star State. It will be a Convocation like nothing before for the simple reason that saints will be going to meet in flesh and blood, by the Grace of Yahweh, Apostles Vance & Debbie. This extraordinary couple, from whom Pastor Grace and yours truly have learnt so much concerning couples in ministry were the vessels Abba used to release the vision of a relational network where participants pursue vertical intimacy with Divinity and horizontal relationship with each other. As visionaries of Arise Ministries International, the Lord inspired them to spread the vision from Austin to first Mexico and the Caribbeans. In December 2000, they dispatch then brother Benjamin Anyacho to his roots in Owerri, Imo State in Nigeria, West Africa to explore possibilities of taking the mission that far. The idea was to speak to ministers in the region at an Apostolic-Prophetic Conference. Following the meeting we had with brother Benjamin, we felt led by Holy Spirit make a commitment to undertake the assignment. Working with vessels like Pastor Cosmas Ilechukwu, Bishop Stafford Nwaogu, Bishop Maxell Korie, Bishop Innocent Erimujor, Dr. Victor Isiodu, Evangelist Olughu Orji, Pastor Emma Akpelu, Pastor Ukachi Odu, Pastor Larry Mishael, Pastor Bethel Nwanebu and several others, the First Apostolic & Prophetic Summit was held at lifeline Assembly, #.1 Orlu Road, Owerri on May 9-11, 2001 (believe the date is right) On Apostle Vances team were Earl, Benjamin and Terry. It was like no previous conference in the city. Here was the Bible coming alive concerning the Five fold and in particular the office of Apostle and Prophet long lost in the Church because Christian religion made it so in the region. Here, they were breaking down the Church as a vibrant organism in which all brethren are supposed to flow in their spiritual gifts! Here was pin point prophetic flow coming forth from all of the team! For this vessel there was something intensely personal about that meeting! In August 1996, after one hear of agonizing and procrastination, finally threw in the towel and kissed bye to denominationalism where it pleased Elohim to use me as a Pastor. He said specifically that denominations were spiritual dead ends which divide His Body on earth and that He created and redeemed this for more. Not knowing exactly the way forward, this vessel had lost appetite for Pastoring and doing church-in-four-walls Christianity. With that resignation, the Lord thrust His vessel into serving the entire Body with a ministry called Arise & Shine Supportive (later Strategic) Ministries other wise called Arise. Pastor Grace and yours truly began to invest our time building up ministries that receive what the Lord was releasing. We ran workshops and training meetings; took up all invitations to minister. The Lord further gave us revelation for putting together a Jesus week which ended with a Grand Jesus rally with several churches of various persuasions participating. We were used of Him to strengthen then President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria to make it a truly viable ministry. It pleased the Lord to use us and some elect saints to bring and work together Pentecostals, Anglicans, Evangelicals, Charismatics and other Independent groups. When Apostle Vance came into our lives with Arise Ministries International, it did not take the Lord much effort to persuade us to lay aside Arise & Shine Supportive Ministries in order to promote AMI with singleness of eye. The Lord had made it clear that who He uses to bring forth a vision is not the issue but rather the content of the vision and its applicability in His Kingdom. To the glory of our Father, it was Apostle Vance He used to explain that this vessel was experiencing a transition from Pastoral to Apostolic and thus confirm the call as an Apostle. With the confirmation into the calling and function, there was much clarity and direction. When the couple began to mentor Pastor Grace and yours truly between 2001 to 2004 the Father responded with approval to process that which He was to use for His glory.
