IMMEDIATE OPENINGS!!! The customer service representative will be responsible for responding to inbound calls from customers relating to their insurance coverage. This position will also update the InsurTrak tracking system with information from insurance carriers and enter in insurance documents in to InsurTrak tracking system. In addition, this position will perform outbound phone calls to insurance companies to obtain detailed information on the insurance history of individuals and update the customer’s loan history. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Must have at least 1-2 years experience in a call center environment. Must have 1 year experience navigating through multiple computer databases while conducting top tier customer service through phone and email. Respond to a high volume of incoming phone calls from customers regarding the status of their auto insurance coverage. Quickly analyze account history and provide accurate information to assist in resolving the customer issue. Make outbound calls to verify insurance and input data into to a proprietary legacy computer system, within agreed performance standards. Manage multiple priorities and exercise good decision-making skills. Make necessary changes or updates to account records via the Insurtrak tracking system. Process refunds on Collateral Protection Insurance policies upon receipt of insurance documentation or verbal verification. Provide follow-up as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain courtesy and professionalism when dealing with difficult or irate callers. Meet productivity and quality standards. Qualifications Knowledge: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service Must have intermediate computer knowledge and familiarity with navigating the internet Skills: Must have good oral and written communication skills Good problem solving and analytical skills Good organizational skills Ability to key a minimum of 8,000 keystrokes per hour and 10 Key by touch Experience/Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Some college preferred Minimum of one year of customer service experience Prior experience with automobile insurance or collateral protection insurance is a plus WORK CONDITIONS: Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time Will be required to communicate via phone for extended periods of time Non-smoker
