IMMEDIATE RELEASE TILLAMOOK COUNTY QUILT TRAIL MURAL SPONSORSHIPS The Tillamook County Quilt Trail Coalition (TCQTC) is undertaking a new development with the help of Terra Wilcoxson, an Urban Designer working with the City of Tillamook. She is also a new addition to the TCQTC board. Ms. Wilcoxson is heading up this project, cosponsored by the TCQTC, the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum and the Latimer Quilt and Textile Center, to paint a quilt-themed mural on the repository at the Latimer. The mural is expanding on the goals of the quilt trail: to celebrate, promote and preserve our rural and coastal heritage through the honored traditions of dairy farming and quilting. The project is moving ahead with an expectation it will be completed late summer. Breanna Moran, Tillamook High School art teacher, is the mural painter. With a background in painting large sets and oil paintings, she is a wonderful local resource for this project. breannamoran To help defray the costs of the mural, we are offering sponsorships - for $25.00 you may sponsor one square foot of the mural. For five squares, or $125.00, you not only sponsor five squares, you will also get your name painted at the base of the mural. This is an excellent way to honor or memorialize someone.
