IMO Rossi is always at his best in supplying information when his answers are yes or no. Here we have an unequivocal yes you are correct to a clear statement of the state of development of the ecat 1MW and the Hotcat HT at this time and the fact that they are two separate product developments. In neither case do I see room for reasonable doubt regarding the reality of the ecat and Rossi effect. The TP2 test team would not be wasting their time writing a report and getting it peer reviewed if there was no Rossi effect. IH would not be installing a 1MW plant for a commercial customer if there were no Rossi effect. The 1MW low temp ecat has evolved into a true commercial product with the first commercial installation now accomplished. After the installation, then acceptance tests must be performed and after that comes an operational period in which data must be taken to verify, positive or negative, the economic benefits of the installation. If I were running IH I would not release any public data until all this was done and thats going to take several months. There is no substitute for time when it comes to data collection and no responsible and successful Corporation goes public with major announcements about products until they have the data to back up their claims. As for the TP2 and its report, by definition its an independent third party. They will report the results when they are ready to and not before. If the results are negative in the sense that there is no Rossi effect and therefore no LENR then why are they taking so much time and why any secrecy at all because none would be required. silvio caggia July 19th, 2014 at 7:05 PM Dear Andrea Rossi, Reading between lines, it seems to me that the 1MW plant 001 is an evolution from the bologna container, while the TIP report is about the hot-cat cylinder module. This could explain why the positive or negative results of the last has no direct relation with the results of the first… My idea is that the goal of the last is to study the “rossi effect” by itself, while the object of the first is the industrial application of the effect… To make an automotive metafora: can we say hot-cat is like a “formula 1″ car while 1MW plant is like a “rally” car? Andrea Rossi July 20th, 2014 at 7:45 AM Silvio Caggia: Yes, you are correct. Warm Regards, A.R.
