IMO WEST SENATORIAL DISTRICT ENDORSES JONATHAN FOR 2015...Passes Vote of Confidence on Sen. Hope Uzodinma. In a unanimous resolution of the over 500 leaders of the Orlu Senatorial District drawn across party leaning from the 12 Local Government Areas of the zone, the people of Imo West Friday at the Omuma Country Home of their Senator, Sen. Hope Uzodinma resolved as follows: 1. That the zone would stand behind President Goodluck Ebele Jonathans aspiration for continuity as President and C-in-C of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; 2. That the zone has rejected the APC as a political party and is queuing behind the PDP as an only national party in order to connect to the national grid; 3. That the zone has absolute confidence in the senator representing the district at the Senate of the National Assembly; 4. That committees of elders be constituted at the LGA level to consult and liaise with the people at the grassroots to fashion out the zones position on the 2015 guber debate in the state. The gathering attracted the who-is-who in Imo West politice, including some traditional rulers who came to lend their supports to the senator for championing with other colleagues issues on an additional state for the S-East.
