IMPORTANCE OF NAVRATRI------ The period of Navratri is not only a festive season but it is also a chance for the peoples to achieve special qualifications by different meditations. This is only the chance when a person is able to enable his/her inner powers by meditation. This is not necessary that this festival is beneficial for the saints only as we can also fulfill all our desires during this period. If we want that our dreams may come true then we should worship goddess during the Navratri. Shakti is the divine energy of God. Goddess has 10 types of Ashtra-Shashtra while she is in the role of Aadi-Shakti. While sitting on the Lion she is always indulge in every activity of this world in these forms i.e. Satva, Rajas, Gyan, Shanti, Icha, Krodh, Lobh, Ahankar, and Garv. The life of a human being always revolves around these 10 activities. Navratri is not a festival, it is a Kalp instead, and it is an important chapter of a person’s life by which a person can raise himself to divine position. Goddess Bhagwati never take test of her worshipers and always bless them with joy and happiness and the Navratri period is the best time to make the Goddess happy. The nine nights of the Navratri are the nights to make the three Goddesses Durga, Laxmi and Saraswati in your favour by the help of Shakti sadhna. All the sources and energies of the world are evolved from these three divine powers only. During Navratri, we should worship Goddess Durga on the first three nights, then Goddess Laxmi on next three nights and finally Goddess Saraswati on the last three nights of the Navratri. By the grace of these three divine powers, a person can get rid of all the negative energies occurring around him.
