IMPORTANT NOTICE Cavan Spca is completely full with Pups & Dogs.If for reason you are looking to rehome your dog please do not contact Tina expecting her to take in your dog,we simply can not take in any more dogs until we re-home some of the dogs that is already in our care.Cavan spca does not have any space at present.Tina has almost 40 dogs in her care and Triona Coates has 25 dogs in her care. Not only are we full but we are now on lock down,we have a outbreak of Parvo.Two pups that were found abandoned last weekend are now in the vets fighting for their life with parvo.Pet owners need to take more responsibility and neuter their dogs and fully vaccinate their dogs continued by a booster vaccination yearly.It is not acceptable that any dog should have to suffer at the hands of their irresponsible owners and not only are they suffering, other dogs are also at risk of contracting diseases. Rescues and pounds around Ireland are at crisis point.People think it is acceptable to dump their unwanted litters of pups like rubbish,the two pups fighting for their life tonight were dumped like a piece of rubbish,had they not been found,they would of suffered a long slow painful death.Would you do it to your children???? Why do it to a animal.If you can not provide care & veterinary treatment for your dog then DONT get one simple.
