What I ask of you is please LIKE!!! this post if you intend on coming so I can create a guest list for the proposed venue. Quite possibly the most anticipated event of 2014. More anticipated than Obama’s attendance at the G20 summit in Brisbane. Obama reminds me of Denzel Washington, just really cool, calm and collected. You know what else is going to be cool, our 10 Year Reunion. BOOM! Great segway Longy!! Before I start on the details, I know they will not suite everyone and maybe you dislike the choice of venue. If you can find a better venue for a better price please let me know, as I would be happy to change them (I sound a little bit aggressive here, not intended haha). Anyway, so the details; Date: 15th November 2014 (Don’t turn up next year) Time: 7:00pm Venue: The Elephant Hotel - 230 Wickham St, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006 Offer: 2 Private rooms (The Board and Dining Room), Private Bar, Music etc… Price: Normally a prepaid cost of $2000, which they have waved for our group. AWESOME! The Elephant hotel is a nice venue. I feel that the purpose of the reunion is to catch up with everyone and have a few too many drinks. Its location in the valley is great if later on in the night you want to head out and keep charging on. This hotel will give us what we need in regards to the purpose of the night. What the competition had to offer; Limes hotel: Prepaid cost of $6000 Jade Buddha: Prepaid cost of $5000 The Orient Hotel: Prepaid cost of $3500-4000 Story Bridge hotel: Prepaid cost of $2000 The Chalk Hotel: Prepaid cost of $2000 Maybe it just me but I am not a fan of paying these prepaid costs as 1: don’t really want to collect that amount of money 2: if people end up not coming I will be stuck with that cost. Again, if you can come across a better offer, please let me know. Again, this may not be the perfect or ideal plan, but I guess it is better than no plan.
