IMPORTANT: We are canceling the May 3 Fuzzy Show due to the recent outbreak of Neurologic Herpes (EHV-1 Myeloencephalopathy). While there have only been a few horses affected from a single barrel race, and the risk at the Fuzzy Show would be low, after consulting with a few area equine veterinarians, we have decided it’s in everyone’s best interest to cancel. There is no vaccination for the neurologic version of this, and it is deadly, and the only way to stop the spread is the minimize risk of exposure, which is why we are canceling the show. We hope the disease is not spread anymore so we can all get back to our equine activities, and hopefully a little extra caution now will help. If you have questions about EHV-1, please contact your equine veterinarian. For those of you who paid for stalls via PayPal, you will receive a refund back into your PayPal account. For those of you in the running for high point awards (1st through 6th place in each age division), the awards will be based on the four shows we had and the current high point tally is considered final. We will have an awards ceremony at a later date so you can receive your prizes, so please stay tuned. Thanks for your understanding.
